For more than a decade, Rehoboth Blessed Assurance has provided food, education, clothing, shelter and hope to vulnerable children and families in Mwiki, Nairobi.
What began with seven children became a lifeline for hundreds.
Rehoboth Blessed Assurance Community Based Organization was founded in 2012 by Pauline Wairimu Wathimu. With no regular donors or sponsors, the organization has continued through the generosity of well-wishers, churches, neighbours and friends.
In 2013, a devastating house fire destroyed everything. Rehoboth continued. Today, the mission remains simple: stand with vulnerable children and families and give them dignity, care and the opportunity for a brighter future.
Children are eating without adequate furniture, sleeping without the beds and bedding they need, and living in premises with unfinished structures. With the rainy season approaching, these needs become even more urgent.

This is the first milestone within the wider US$25,000 campaign to help Rehoboth move from immediate crisis toward 2–3 years of greater stability.
Pauline Wairimu Wathimu founded Rehoboth in 2012 with seven children. Through hardship, a devastating fire and years without regular sponsorship, she and the Rehoboth community have continued showing up for children who need care.
